STEPHEN SEBASTIAN

Stephen Sebastian began his career in public affairs as a U.S. Senate Page appointed by Majority Leader Bill Frist, M.D., after becoming interested in civic life at a young age under the mentorship of longtime Congressman Jimmy Quillen.

While majoring in Classical Studies at Furman University, he led the largest student group on campus, recognized nationally for its effectiveness, before continuing graduate studies in ancient languages while teaching Latin at Mississippi College.

Stephen has since led communications and messaging strategy for a wide range of initiatives, from statewide and congressional campaigns to local economic development, healthcare, and nonprofit efforts. His experience also includes managing communications during high-profile national policy debates from Capitol Hill and providing creative and political strategy to businesses and more than eighty campaigns in nine different states.

At the local level, Stephen has helped new voices break through and supported organizations working to strengthen their communities, including assisting Dr. Phil Roe in becoming the only first-time challenger in nearly a century to unseat a sitting Tennessee congressman. Across countless campaigns for mayors, judges, county commissioners, state legislators, and three U.S. congressmen, Stephen’s clients have maintained an 80% win rate in recent election cycles.
