KATHY PARK
Kathy Park is an award-winning journalist who brings nearly two decades of communications and media expertise to the Ingram Group.
As a former on-air correspondent with NBC Network news, she appeared regularly on the TODAY show and Nightly News, delivering some of the nation’s most consequential headlines from 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and beyond. Kathy built a career on breaking news, crafting high-profile messaging in fast-moving situations. She built trust and connection through her work and offered clarity for an audience of millions during natural disasters, political flashpoints, and mass casualty events. Kathy was among the first journalists to report from New York’s Times Square as COVID-19 quickly escalated into a global health emergency, and was also part of the team that provided extensive courtroom coverage of Ghislaine Maxwell’s federal sex-trafficking trial in Manhattan.
As a trusted communicator, Kathy has built a strong network of media relationships across education, technology, and healthcare. Through those connections, she has partnered with leading global companies and public figures to secure coverage on innovation, philanthropy, and social impact.
Kathy launched her journalism career in local news, with her first stop at WCYB in Northeast Tennessee. From there, she worked in TV newsrooms from Washington, D.C., to California, reporting on thousands of stories and sharpening her editorial instincts. Her work earned multiple Emmy nominations and an Edward R. Murrow Award. Today she draws on those experiences to help clients navigate strategic storytelling through traditional and digital media and prepares organizations to be camera-ready when the stakes are high.
Beyond her work stateside, Kathy spent time in Seoul, as an East-West Center journalism fellow, examining the strain of the North Korean nuclear crisis on US-South Korea relations.
Kathy is a DC-area native, with a Journalism degree from the University of Maryland. She now lives in Knoxville, TN, with her husband Brent and their goldendoodle, Knox.
