ACE BURCH
Prior to joining the Ingram Group, Ace Burch spent a decade working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C where he advised senior Members of Congress on complex legislative matters and advanced policy objectives at the highest level.
Ace also served as Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander, acting as the Senator's lead policy advisor for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, as well as the Senate Finance Committee. In that capacity, he helped advance the Senator's priorities through major legislation including the Water Resources Development Act and the Energy Act of 2020. Earlier in his career, he served in the office of House Budget Committee Chairwoman Diane Black, managing the Ways & Means Committee portfolio and playing a key role in securing her priorities in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and NAFTA 2.0 negotiations.
Later, Ace served as Senior Professional Staff Member on the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, where he directed committee investigations into federal agencies including the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of the Interior, and the Department of Commerce. In that role, he conducted transcribed interviews with senior agency officials and negotiated document productions on behalf of Members of Congress—developing deep expertise in federal regulatory processes.
Prior to joining the Oversight Committee, Ace served as Professional Staff Member on the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, where he led oversight projects into the Department of Health and Human Services and managed engagement with executive branch nominees and agency representatives.
Ace's experience spans both chambers of Congress, multiple committee jurisdictions, and a wide range of policy areas—including energy, environment, tax, trade, agriculture, transportation, and federal oversight. He understands how Congress works and is able to navigate complicated legislative and regulatory landscapes.
Ace holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
